Super YachtHigh load and low friction KDS150 sheave in machined aluminum then anodized. This is not a basic sheave but a sheave optimized for heavy loads. KDS sheaves are fitted with low friction bearings for the main load, and balls for the lateral forces. The Karver range of sheaves offers an excellent weight / resistance ratio. The extension code FP indicates that the center of the sheave is designed for a flat pin instead of a round pin.

– Be careful ! Following the takeover of the Grec Marine company which initially designed this range of sheaves, we have made several changes. If you want to replace a KDS sheave, we advise you to provide us with as much information as possible. Consult us.
– A Karver KDS80 sheave is a sheave capable of holding 8T (80 = 8T). For Grec Marine, a KDS80 sheave was a sheave equipped with an 80 mm diameter sheave.
– As far as possible, we recommend the use of a flat shaft (extension of code FP).
– Heavy duty sheaves, whatever their brand, must be perfectly aligned.
– Like any part of the fittings, the sheaves must be cleaned and maintained. For the design offices in charge of their positioning, remember to keep the possibility of disassembly.
